Cedar Rapids City Council: Alternative Projects was the topic of this "brown bag" meeting. Flood director Greg Eyerly gave public introduction into what he, at an earlier Council meeting, had compared to a "candy store." Lots of money coming the Council's way. The challenge: how to spend it. They'll have another round next week, when they decide. FEMA's pushing them to get their shopping list in. Trails figured nicely in this round. So did the Sinclair-New Bo-Czech Village area.
